Overview:
"ARData manages the Arkansas Digital Credential Ecosystem, which includes several key statewide shared services to enable the issuance and use of LERs:
The Arkansas Credential Registry is the collection of linked open data on providers, programs, credentials, learning opportunities, competencies, quality assurance frameworks, occupational alignment, pathways, job roles, and supportive services that provide context to LERs. We publish to Credential Engine in CTDL, and all LERs get a CTID for linkage to related competencies and contextual information on the assertion.
The Statewide Longitudinal Data System (linked historical administrative data) and Arkansas Data Hub (real time sharing of operational data) facilitate efficient issuance of state-supported LERs and entity resolution between state and decentralized identity providers.
The Jobs and Employment Data Exchange (JEDx) will facilitate issuance of LERs related to employment experience as well as unpaid work experience (prison work assignment, work-based learning, volunteer service). This is currently in pilot phase.
The Velocity Network is used for issuance, access, and verification of state-supported LERs.
The Digital Credentials Consortium Learner Credential Wallet is used for military LER issuance through SOLID.
The Arkansas Skills Squad, led by the Chief Skills Strategy Officer, manages LER-related shared services and supports awareness, learning, and support efforts for advancement of skills-based hiring and advancement in Arkansas."
